Go Tigers!

We are at the stage of life where literally every second of every day is full of something. With one kid in middle school, one in elementary school, and one in preschool, our lives are crazy. Add in church and youth ministry, and it gets even crazier. We may not have a moment to catch our breath but I’m really not complaining. We are having so much fun.

A few weeks back, Kevin and Kate went to a whitewater rafting trip with the youth group at our church. Meanwhile, I took Karsten and Kallen to Clemson and met up with my parents. Karsten is becoming a Clemson fan more and more (mostly to oppose Kevin and Kate’s Georgia loyalties) and Kallen just seems to go with the flow of whatever is going on around him. So on this day, he was ALL IN.

We tailgated, saw the band and cheerleaders come through, and hung out in the shade until it was time to go in.

We anticipated the weather being a little cooler and it was, but in the mid-80’s it was still HOT. What’s better on a hot day than a snow cone?

Kickoff was at 2:15 so it was a really weird time. We ended up leaving at halftime because of tired kids and the HEAT. Plus Clemson was already winning pretty big. 🙂 Overall it was the BEST day and I’m so thankful that my parents met me there. WE loved spending time with them.
