Chop Chop – Summer Cut!

Karsten has had two hair cuts at this point in her life, but both cuts were very minor. Basically, she has only had the ends trimmed very lightly. Over the past 4 years, her hair has gotten LONG. It’s curly so it doesn’t look as long as it actually is. While it appears to be midway down her back, it is actually way past her rear end.

Today, she got a major hair cut. She was SO excited to get “short hair” and have the whole salon experience. Let me tell you, she soaked it ALL up. Mid-way through the cut, they asked if we just wanted to leave it dry of if I wanted them to wash her hair. Karsten quickly piped up saying “I want it washed please!”, so that’s what we did.

She loves her new ‘do. Seriously. It is so much lighter for her and won’t be nearly as hot while she plays outside.

Short(er) hair and all, THIS is the girl we all know and love so much. Silly, happy, and always making us laugh.
