Mother’s Day 2020

Last weekend we celebrated Mother’s Day. Well, we actually celebrated it on 2 weekends, or at least I think we did. At this point in the home-quarantined time that we are living in, all of my days are running together. I don’t know if it’s Monday or Wednesday.
I digress. What I THINK happened is that we celebrated Mother’s Day with my family the weekend before Mother’s Day. It was such a beautiful day – not too hot and it felt GREAT being outside.
This is my sister and me with our mom. Isn’t she beautiful? I am so thankful for her. She is the one I go to for advice on my kids, or for medical stuff (she is a nurse) or for anything really. She’s my best friend and I hope my girls grow up and want to be friends with me like I am with my Mama. I sure love her!

And here are the moms with all of our kids. The guys are most definitely outnumbered.

Here are a few pictures from the actual Mother’s Day this past weekend. I’m so thankful for these two, who made me a mom, and for their First Moms who gave them LIFE and chose our family for them. We can’t imagine things any differently.

NINE years of Mother’s days – look at baby Kate!! I mean next year, she might be taller than me!!
