Judah
So we did a thing. We got a puppy a few weeks back! Everybody, meet Judah!
We were a 2 dog family for over 10 years, until our dog Cooper suddenly passed away about a year ago. Our girls had only ever known having 2 dogs around.
We hadn’t specifically planned to get a puppy now but considering we had all been isolated at home for weeks already, with no immediate end in sight, we figure that there wouldn’t be a better time to add a pup to the family. And we were wanting to be a 2 dog family again anyway. So – here he is!
You know how every dog chooses their person? Pretty sure this pup has chosen me. The girls keep asking why he likes me best, and I just tell them it’s because I’m the Mama and he knows it.
Last weekend we took him to the lake and he took the plunge for the very first time. The verdict is in, and he can swim! (As if there was any doubt – he is a Labrador Retriever.)
Judah is a much loved addition in our household. Now if we can just get PetSmart to open back up so we can enroll him in puppy training school! 🙂
