Halloween 2019
I’m sad to report that our family is officially past the sweet and cute Halloween costumes. Gone are the days of Disney princesses, cute baby farm animals or other sweet costumes. Thankfully we are not in the SCARY phase of costumes, but this is what the girls chose to dress up as this year:
Bonus points if you actually know who they are, because I did not initially.
They are sisters from the movie Descendants. Kate is Audery and Karsten is Mal. (Apparently Kate is evil…. and I did not know this until after Halloween.)
It’s wild and crazy, but the important thing is, they LOVED it. Honestly, that’s all that even counts. Totally worth it in my opinion.
Oh, yes, I have seen all 3 Descendant movies. Mal is the daughter of Malificent (she started out evil) and Audrey is the daughter of Aurora (she started out nice and turned evil for awhile). Audrey was definitely a popular costume this year. My daughter wanted to be a zombie ballerina this year, so that’s the first year of her being something evil. I didn’t mind so much. It’s all for fun.
My daughter dressed up as Mal, too! I think Descendants was a big hit with the kids for Halloween this year.
