Christmas 2019
Christmas morning, the kids woke up so excited to see what Santa dropped off. My parents got to our house not long after they woke up the the girls were ready to see all of their new toys. They were NOT disappointed.
For months, Kate has been begging for a guitar and guitar lessons. We were in a local music store one day, and Karsten saw a ukulele. After that day, her mind was made up on what she wanted for Christmas. I will say, she had a brief moment where she was asking for roller skate, with jets to make her fly, but eventually she went back to wanting the ukulele.
Needless to say, they were pretty excited to open up the gifts and fine these instruments.
Kate spent the afternoon building a gingerbread house, while Karsten opened up one of her favorite new toys – a gem-finding set. Seriously, this kid LOVES rocks and this kit was right up her alley. It was a hit! I could probably buy it for her 3 more times and she’d still enjoy it.
Our kids LOVE their grandparents (and so do we)! We are so thankful that we get to spend so much time with family regularly. Sweet memories!
