First, thank you SO much for all of the sweet comments that we’ve had in response to our second adoption. We’re excited to be on this path, and hopefully one day in the not-to-distant future, meet our second child.
Now, on to some pictures of what we’ve been up to this weekend. Friday evening ended with me reading to Kate from one of my childhood books- Mother Goose’s Nursery Rhymes. This is us reading about Little Miss Muffett.
I’ve mentioned it before, but this little kid is D-R-A-M-A for sure! These are the expressions we get when things don’t go exactly her way (i.e. she dropped the top of the box on the ground in picture #1 and couldn’t get it to snap shut in picture #2).
Sweet bedtime snuggles with her Cinderella baby doll while she watches Cinderella on TV.
Kate and I had an ice-cream date at Dairy Queen this afternoon. She sure does love her “i-ceam”. She definitely gets that one from her Daddy.
We sat down to watch Chuggington and Kate scooted over as close as she could to me, squirmed down in the seat until her feet barely reached the recliner, and then crossed her feet so she was sitting EXACTLY like me. Love it!
I am not so secretly jealous of her hair. It’s so not fair that this is my TWO YEAR OLD’s hair!!

I want her hair 🙂 And, I didn't get a chance to comment on your last post – but congratulations mama on adopting again! Can't wait to hear the stories and then soon – to see pics of your new son/daughter!
