Vacation 2020
If ever there was a year to need a vacation, it was 2020. Am I right?
We are beach people. And let me clarify that when I say “we” I mean the girls and I are beach people, and Kevin goes along with it because it makes us happy. That’s a good husband and dad for you.
Regardless, we go to the beach for a week every summer. We don’t have one specific beach that we go to though. We like to check out new beaches along the coast. Our ideal beach is a pretty remote/deserted beach, that is close enough to drive to restaurants and other things to do. Because of that, we’ve gone to a lot of the southern NC beaches the past few years.
The beach we ended up this year turned out to be not quite as deserted as is our preference. Of all the years, right? 🙂 We did our part to social distance as much as we could and stayed to ourselves as much as we possibly could and had a GREAT trip.
We are so blessed to be able to take a vacation like this each year and get precious time together as a family. God is good!
