Kate is TEN

My girl turned 10 back on August 10th. This is the girl that made me a mommy and that I got to do all of my “firsts” as a parent with. She is outgoing, impulsive and everybody’s best friend. She is a nurturer and loves fiercely. She and her sister are 3 years apart, but they are the BEST of friends. They have a bond even greater than what I could have hoped for. She loves her baby brother so very much, and Kallen is going to grow up with Kate as his second mom.

Ten years ago I couldn’t have imagined this is what life would be. It’s better than we could have ever come up with on our own. Thank goodness we have a loving Father who knows us better than we know ourselves.

Thank you, God, for blessing us with Kate and knowing exactly who we needed.

Happy TENTH birthday, Kate. We love you!
