Kallen – 5, 6 and 7 Months
I’ve been on the longest blog-break that I’ve had since I started this blog. Unintentionally (again). Pretty sure this is the craziest work year I’ve had. Kevin calls me the queen of exaggeration but I’m pretty sure he would agree that I’m not exaggerating on this one!
So since I will never get caught up on Kallen’s monthly updates at this rate, here are months 5, 6 and 7.
This little boy is such a blessing. He is sweet and smiley and so much fun. And these past 3 months have been so incredibly FUN. First of all, baby boy started SLEEPING around 4.5 months old. Thankfully, he started sleeping all the way through the night only a few weeks after I returned to work. God definitely answers prayers!
He is the most ticklish baby that you’ll ever meet. His feet, under his arms, his belly, under his chin, his back – doesn’t matter where you tickle him, he will bust out laughing which will guarantee to put a smile on your face also!
He loves, loves, LOVES his sisters. He is so smitten with them – they bring out the biggest smiles and giggles. And in case any of you were worried, the feeling is definitely mutual. When Karsten was younger, she did not love babies. She said all they do is cry and make dirty diapers and she was not a fan. However, she has more than changed her tune (though she is yet to change a dirty diaper.) She has told me multiple times – “We shoulda gotten him years ago, Momma. He is the best baby brother ever.”
And Kate is his little Momma. She is seriously the biggest help ever. I wouldn’t be surprised if he said her name before saying Mama. She is the best baby entertainer around and is so sweet with him.
Even though I haven’t been blogging as regularly as I would have liked, I have NOT slacked off in taking pictures. Here are a few of my favorites from the past 3 months.
