First Hair Cut
On Saturday we took Kate for her very first haircut. I’d been putting it off because we love her long hair, but she really needed a trim to just even things up a bit. She got MAYBE an inch cut off so most people probably can’t even tell that she got it cut at all. It was a big day though! (So sorry for the tons of pictures that follow.)
We took her to Snippits, which is a kids-only hair place and they have got it DOWN. The lady that cut Kate’s hair said they do probably 40-50 first hair-cuts a week, and you could tell. They had cookies, goldfish and puzzles to keep the kids entertained while in the chairs, and it seriously took her less than 10 minutes to do everything.
We were told that Kate had 4 year old hair, not 17 month old hair. 🙂 It was a fun day, and definitely worth dealing with the crazy traffic.

She looks so cute! Now she'll be less irritated with her hair and she can play all day comfortably! I loved it when her hair was almost done! You guys are so lucky to have her!

She is such a doll! She looks like she did great during her haircut. I so remember my son's first one….he actually cried so hard he fell asleep…..then while he slept and I held him we were able to get the hair cut. It sounds rough and it was. So, Kate's haircut just makes me smile! And, I think it looks adorable!
