Father’s Day 2020
This year, we were on vacation for Father’s Day. We gave Kevin a card and gift a couple of days early, so we could celebrate at home, but we did spend Father’s Day Sunday celebrating this guy. He sure is special.
He is always taking care of us and serving us in big ways and in small. He spends time with our girls daily – playing sports, riding bikes, listening to their stories, watching them show us something, praying with them at bedtime, and the list goes on and on. Whenever a stuffed animal gets torn, the girls know exactly who to turn to. He is the best and we are thankful he is ours.
Most of all though, we are thankful for how he leads our family and points us toward Jesus. While no one is perfect, we know that following him will keep us following Him. And that’s what makes him the best dad ever.
I have singled him out so that he will direct his sons and their families to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just.
