Celebrating Mom

This weekend, we headed to my hometown to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday with lots of family.

So. Much. Fun.

On Saturday morning, a group of us went over to the park to hike some of the trails. The girls came along and for the most part, they did really well! Karsten is a bit of a con artist and faked tiredness a few times so she could ride on people’s shoulders.

The rest of Saturday was filled with basketball watching, boat riding, ladder ball playing, Uno games and all kinds of fun. We ended the evening with a feast of shrimp, fish, salads, cornbread, orzo and of course – CAKE.

We had a blast celebrating my mom. What a blessing she is to our family.
