Being Karsten
This girl. She loves life. She is happy about 90% of the time and the other 10% of the time she is a grouch. There is no in between with her. It’s either pure joy and happiness…. or it’s not.
She is emotional and loving. She will give hugs and cuddles, she will tell me “I love you Mommy” or “You’re so beautiful Mommy” without any prompting at all. She is ALL GIRL, and loves glitter, sparkles, skirts and dresses. She loves bows and hair chalk, braids and all things that are even remotely in the category of “accessories”.
That 10% of the time can be rough. She is at that stage where she needs a nap and if she doesn’t get one, she is a grump by 6:30pm. She’ll still take a nap, but then she’s awake until midnight. We can’t win for losing, but I know that we’ll be past this stage before I know it.
That 90% of the time is good though, really good. She loves her sister, she loves her parents, and she loves life. And one of my favorites is hearing her walking into the kitchen and immediately say “What is that WONDERFUL smell, Mommy?” She knows how to make you feel good.
